A Business Teacher plays a vital role in educating students about various aspects of business, management, finance, and entrepreneurship.

Job Summary:

• Develop and plan lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers, school staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities of a Business Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Business lessons to secondary school students
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Encourage students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management in the classroom
• Ensure all students have equal opportunities to succeed in Business studies

Requirements of a Business Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Previous experience as a Business Teacher is desirable
• Strong knowledge of the Business curriculum and teaching methods
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• A commitment to continuous professional development
