Nursery Practitioner Maldon, Essex £24,212 - £25,960pa Job Summary We are currently working with a nursery in Maldon who are dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. They are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join their team. They pride themselves on close partnerships with parents and families to ensure each child receives personalised care and attention. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality early years curriculum following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
• Mentor and support the professional growth of junior early years educators within the team.
• Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and address any additional needs.
• Work collaboratively with the management team to enhance the quality of care and education provided.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication regarding their children s development.
• Ensure a safe, engaging learning environment, creatively utilising resources to support all areas of learning.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the nursery s overall strategy and goals.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education (higher qualifications preferred).
• Experience in an early years setting with a proven ability to lead and improve educational outcomes.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS, child development, and best practices in early years education.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Commitment to inclusive education and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for all children.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
