Strategy Education are urgently looking for a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a school based in Maldon Essex.

The role is for an immediate start and will be full time until July 2026 with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.

• You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support students who may be experiencing behavioural or are emotionally challenged.

• Build positive and meaningful relationships with students to encourage engagement and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.

• Provide class support and work with students 1:1 or in small groups, helping them stay focused and achieve their goals.

The ideal person

• Will have experience working with young people in an educational or youth work setting who display challenging behaviour.

• Will be able to work under pressure, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• You will be committed to inclusion and passionate about supporting all students, regardless of background or ability.
