About the role

Our Trainee Cover Supervisor program provides individuals with minimal or no experience the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive 1-day in-branch training course in Chelmsford (CM1). Additionally, participants undergo online training in Safeguarding and Managing Behaviour. Upon successful completion of all training requirements and clearance by our compliance team, you will be eligible to work as a Cover Supervisor, overseeing pre-planned lessons across various subjects.

About the school

We collaborate with Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools, servicing the entire Essex area and Ipswich. Your role will involve day-to-day supply work across different schools, with the possibility of transitioning to long-term or permanent positions for well-suited candidates.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Cover Supervisor you will:

• Have/be willing to pay for an Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Participate and complete the ongoing CPD training
• Have a full CV, covering from when you left School until present
• Have an overseas police check (If applicable)
• Have a minimum of two professional, verifiable references from your previous employment
• Ideally have a Degree or GCSE equivalent

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Participate and complete the ongoing CPD training
