Maldon (Field based covering Essex)Up to £22 per hour39hrs per week (Overtime paid at a higher rate available)Job overview:If you are an experienced electrician with industrial experience looking for an exciting, fast-paced role, then this could be the role for you!Working for a well-known engineering company based near Maldon, you will travel around their customer sites in Essex performing a range of duties. The company offers a range of benefits, such as health insurance, an enhanced pension scheme, a company van and more. Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Panel building / wiring various control panels
  • Performing electrical repairs and installation work to the highest standard in line with all required regulations and codes of practice
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of industrial electrical systems
  • Installing electrical systems using a full range of installation materials and techniques
  • Routine checking and testing of all types of electrical systems, including the location and repair of faults.
  • This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:
  • Up-to-date electrical qualifications including 18th edition wiring regulations
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an electrician within an industrial environment
  • An understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
  • Experience of panel building and working with variable speed drives preferred
  • UK Driving licence.
