We are pleased to be working with a prestigious food manufacturing based in the outskirts of Maldon, Essex.

Applicants need to be aware this role will involve lots of physical duties.

This role is a PERMANENT opportunity with the first 3 months working through Prime Appointments.

Own transport required due to location

Duties of the Factory Operative:

• Operating of factory machinery
• Visual quality checking of product
• Working to SOPs and site processes
• Completion of paperwork
• Use of pallet truck and pump truck
• Set up of production machinery
• Undertaking heavy, physical factory duties
• Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others

Hours and Pay:

• 6:30 am to 12:30 pm, 5 days a week which could include weekends
• Shifts are subject to change in future
• 16.00ph

The Ideal Factory Operative:

• Previous experience in Manufacturing and Production
• Able to undertake manual handling tasks
• Valid counterbalance forklift an advantage
• Own transport required
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime
• Flexible approach to working days (able to work shifts if required)
