A client of ours in the Maldon area are recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (37.5 hours) and paying 26,000 - 28,000 per annum depending on experience.Liaising with the Supply Chain Manager, key duties include but are not limited to:

• Generate and maintain PO's to ensure goods are ordered on time and pricing records are accurate.
• Working with internal teams, develop and maintain the MRP system.
• Develop and manage Manufacturing Order Requests (MOR's) in accordance with MRP demand
• Co-Ordinate workflow with the Warehouse team leadership
• Control material flow through the management of existing and future Purchase Orders (PO's) within the SAP system
• Action and maintain Purchase Order Requests submitted by other departments
• Raise and maintain Purchase Orders for non-stock items
• Manage supplier relationships so as to ensure continuous material flow
• Investigate and resolve scheduling or supplier related issues
• Create and maintain delivery priority data to ensure all issues are visible and acted upon
• Analyse stock levels
• Manage PO & MOR due dates based on reports received
• On a weekly basis, issue CSV files to required teams
• Monitor and record open Sales Order data (Backorder report) and Nearly Out Of Stock items, publishing internally on a weekly basis
• Take lead on maintenance of the reprocessing process of OOD stock
• Liaise with all internal departments regarding any Planning and Supply Chain queries or delivery schedules.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Supply Chain Coordinator position:

• Logistics distribution and Supply chain experience essential
• Experience in using an MRP system
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in using the Microsoft packages
