BURNHAM-On-Crouch Town Council will discuss the possibility of introducing double yellow lines around the bottom of Glebe Road, Glendale Road and The Leas.

Councillor Wendy Stamp - who is now also an Essex County Councillor as well as Leader of Maldon District Council - has requested that an investigation is carried out into the possibility of adding the double yellow lines following residents' requests.

The matter is on the agenda for Burnham-on Crouch Town Council's Full Council meeting tomorrow evening (Tuesday, 15 June) at 7.30pm.

The agenda states that the request is "due to dangerous parking and causing obstruction on the foot paths".

Cllr Stamp will tell the meeting that she is requesting the consultation be carried out with the town council and possibly community engagement, too.
