The next meeting of the group is for a talk by Jimmy Byam-Shaw on Ship Development in Spain and England during the time of the Armada. This talk will cover the types of ships involved in both sides in the battle, how they were developed, their armaments and the tactics used by both sides and how these developed during the battle.
