Maldon Town Hall is to host a public consultation hearing on proposed changes to services at St Peter's Hospital, Maldon
NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) have begun an eight-week period of consultation about specific health services in mid and south Essex.
They want to seek views and ideas on their proposals for future arrangements for inpatient services at the community hospitals, freestanding midwife-led birthing, and other patient services provided at St Peter's Hospital.
The consultation will run until 21 March 2024.
The public consultation hearing at Maldon Town Hall, an event that anyone can come along to, will give people the opportunity to present evidence or tell the NHS their views on the proposals directly.
Independent communications and involvement experts will run the event with a panel of subject experts.
The session will be split into subject areas dependant on the people that come forward to present evidence.
This is for groups, organisations or communities who would like the opportunity to present their views on the proposals directly to NHS leaders. Details are as follows:
It will take place on Tuesday, 19 March from 12.30pm - 8pm
You can register for the event via Eventbrite online: http://www.eventbrite.com/cc/public-consultation-mid-and-south-essex-nhs-3021119
How to submit evidence: email your interest in providing evidence to the following email, and the NHS will be in touch: [email protected]
