Burnham Archaeological Group

Following the successful excavation of the Bishop of London's palace in 2020/21 at Southminster Hall, they have been working for over three years on the remains of St. Barnabas Church Mayland, demolished in 1878. Their journey back in time has taken them to the early 13th century, with a wealth of finds including many beautiful floor tiles, book clasps and carved stone. They will bring a selection of finds and give a fascinating talk.
