The Maldon Festival Returns for 2025 with Exciting Relaunch and Fundraising Event – A Spring Awakening

The Maldon Festival is set to make a grand return in 2025, promising an unforgettable celebration of music, and culture. Following a brief hiatus last year, the festival is gearing up to delight audiences once again, running from 27th June to 12th July 2025.

To kick off this exciting relaunch, a special Event will take place on Saturday , 1st March 2025, from 7:30 pm at St Mary's Church, Church Street, Maldon. An evening of classical favourites.

Since its inception in 2008, The Maldon Festival has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene, showcasing an eclectic mix of performances from renowned artists and emerging talents. The 2025 edition promises a revitalized program, featuring classical concerts, contemporary performances and much more.

"We're thrilled to revitalise The Maldon Festival," said James Burrell-Cook [Chair of Trustees]. "This year's relaunch not only celebrates the resilience and creativity of our community but also sets the stage for a vibrant and inclusive Festival that will be bigger and better than ever."

The 1st March event will serve as a vital platform to ensure the Festival's success, with sponsorship pledged going directly to supporting the Festivals programming of events and current sponsors enjoying an evening of entertainment featuring Beethoven's Spring Sonata, Noel Coward and more. Attendees can look forward to performances featuring former festival director, Colin Baldy, with James Davey on St Mary's organ, Megan Hill on violin and James Housego on Piano.
