Alan Gresty & Friends are one of the foremost traditional jazz bands on the UK Jazz circuit today. On Saturday 16 March, they return by popular demand to Wickham Bishops Jazz Club at Wickham Bishops Village Hall CM8 3JZ.

Wickham Bishops JC is one of the longest running Jazz Clubs in Essex if not the UK. Established in the early 1950s, initially in Dunmow, it moved to Wickham Bishops over 30 years ago when the then manager moved home.

The club has hosted many top Jazz names from the UK & overseas, including Chris Barber's band, Ken Colyer, Monty Sunshine & others too numerous to mention. Sadly those bands are no more, but the club hosts many of the most popular bands on the UK Jazz circuit today, on the 3rd Saturday of each month except July & August.

All are welcome to join us in the appreciation of some of the best Jazz to be heard live in the UK these days. Seats are £15/head, cash only on the door.
