Construction Service Advisor

Location: Maldon, Essex

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-17:00pm

Salary: £Competitive, depending on experience, plus profit related bonus

Adecco Chelmsford are currently looking for an experienced Service Advisor for our long-established client based in Ongar. The ideal candidate will come from an automotive background and have had exposure working with customers, technicians, and engineers on a daily basis. Responsibilities -

• Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the construction office and its overall profitability.
• You will also be assisting in maintaining effective and accurate communications between customers and technicians in relation to the repair and maintenance of machinery/equipment.
• You will be responsible for raising job cards and invoices.
• Along with being the main point of contact for customers, you will also be responsible for working with the warranty team to log claims and assist with queries.
• Suitable candidates must have the ability to deal diplomatically with customer & colleagues in a polite and professional manager.

Requirements

• Good keyboard and PC skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
• Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work well with others.
• Be confident and show initiative.
• Strong attention to detail
