Vegilove and Hills Prospect will hold a 'Cheeze & Wine' night at the Carpenters Arms pub in Gate Street, Maldon, on Tuesday 17 October from 7pm.

At £30 per person, guests will savour an assortment of plant-based "cheezes". They are vegan and locally made, including home-grown herbs and garlic.

Sommelier Simon Jarvis from Hills Prospect has chosen the perfect wine to complement each cheese.

The evening will feature five vegan wines, along with a vegan "cheeze" board and a selection of nibbles including olives, organic dried fruit and Vegilove chutney.
