Maldon Town Council to hold Proclamation of King Charles III at Moot Hall tomorrow

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the accession of King Charles III, Maldon Town Council will hold a Public Proclamation on the balcony of the Moot Hall tomorrow (September 11).

The Proclamation will take place at 3pm at the Moot Hall, on Maldon High Street.

Members of the public have been invited to attend, by Maldon Town Mayor, Councillor Andrew Lay.

Also tomorrow, Maldon District Council Chairman Robert Boyce OBE will make the Royal Proclamation to announce the new King at 2pm. That will take place on the steps of the Council Offices in Princes Road, Maldon.
